Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive procedure that uses a low-level electrical current to stimulate the brain:
- How it works A powered stimulator sends a weak electrical current through electrodes and conductive material placed on the scalp.
- What it’s used for tDCS can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including neurological disorders, depression, and addictive disorders. It can also be used to enhance the benefits of physical, occupational, or speech therapy

By combining intuitive design that requires minimal setup and training, short sessions that match the length of most TV shows, and proven techniques to reduce depression, our users can better manage their depression on their terms.
